Husky Liwan
In June 2011 Saipem awarded Cladtek the package for the supply of the CRA Lined and CRA Metallurgically clad materials for the subsea portion of Husky’s Liwan Project. The 22” DNV450 lined with alloy 625 will be the largest diameter CRA Lined Pipe installed subsea, portions of the 12” sections of lined pipe will b installed by J Lay in depths approaching 1500 meters making it amongst the deepest CRA Lined Pipes to be installed also.
Due to limitations on strip width used to make the liner pipes, the liners for the 22” pipe will have two long seems. The 22” outer pipe has been sourced from Dalmine, the wall thickness for the 22” was too high for ERW and current lead times for LSAW outer pipes were unworkable. Tenaris were able to offer a very competitive lead time of 3 months ex mill for the 22” seamless to secure the outer pipe supply.

Certification ISO 9001:2000

PT Cladtek International following recent audit by Bureau Veritas has again received ISO 9001:2000 Approval effective 10th November 2008. Cladtek has embarked on further large investments with its new production plant located not far from its original plant on the Indonesian Island of Batam. The new plant is now some 75% complete and more news will follow in our next update.

In Aug 2009 – Atlantico Sul ordered Metallurgically Clad Pipe and Bends for the Hull Riser Jumper Spools for Petrobras P55 project.
