Cladtek moves to new purpose build 9Ha Facility.

Cladtek’s flagship facility in the free zone of Batam is located just 15km from Singapore. The new site will accommodate several year of growth with some 18000m2 under cover and 5 Ha pipe storage facility. Batam is also home to one of Bredero Shaws most sophisticated coating facilities, thus providing significant logistics advantages. Cladtek’s new facility has the capacity to deposit 1000kg per day of Hot Wire GTAW overlay and produce up to 20km per month of CRA lined pipe, as well as produce solid CRA welded pipes and Metallurgically Clad Pipes from plates for the first time.

In Aug 2009 – Atlantico Sul ordered Metallurgically Clad Pipe and Bends for the Hull Riser Jumper Spools for Petrobras P55 project.
