Management of Quality

At CladTek International our core strength is our ability to consistently produce the highest quality products that exceed the needs and expectations of our customers.

To achieve the high levels of quality required for our products we have in place clear effective management systems that are underpinned by management policies and supported by a suite of documented procedures.

Our quality assurance and quality control systems are modelled on the detailed requirements of ISO 9001-2000 and API-Q1.

Manufacturing Plant Safety and Environmental Management

In keeping with our approach to quality CladTek International is acutely aware of the need to provide a safe working environment for all personnel and have in place stringent documented systems and processes. These procedures address hazard identification and reduction and are used to ensure immediate response and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Whilst the process of manufacture used by CladTek International is not harmful to the environment, CladTek's management has adopted a proactive approach and has put in place systems modelled on ISO 14001 that enable environmental incidents to be identified, assessed and corrective/preventive action implemented.

All our management systems are under continuous review by senior staff but this review is re-enforced by a comprehensive in-house auditing program. The audit program is seen as a critical task and all audit findings are promptly reported to top management.

Quality of the Bi-Metal pipe

We recognise that the parent carbon steel outer pipe and CRA liner quality is of paramount importance in the final Bi-metal pipe quality. At CladTek International we carefully assess and select high quality raw materials to manufacture our Bi-metal products. This process combined with our knowledge of clad technology, sets the CladTek product apart from our competitors.

The carbon steel outer pipe is manufactured to an international standard such as API 5L or DNV OS-F101 and the inner pipe (CRA liner) is produced to API 5LC, or ASTM standards.

During manufacture we have a comprehensive QC program to monitor and check the key manufacturing parameters set by the technical personnel. The product actual parameters are recorded and measured in accordance with strict standards maintained by the CladTek QC staff. These procedures give 100% traceability of our final product.

Our quality control program routinely involves both destructive and non-destructive testing, such as X ray and UT examination. For these types of tests we typically use independent testing companies who hold recognised certification, which compliments our overall approach to quality.
